Candidate for First Selectman,
Greg LaCava

From the Candidate

I moved to Warren when I was 6 years old from nearby New Milford. I started in 1st grade at Warren Elementary School. From then on, I have lived in Warren most of my life.

In recent years, I felt compelled to get involved locally. I joined the Warren Volunteer Fire Company to give back.

I became a firefighter and EMT, and then joined the Emergency Management team. The pandemic, combined with a few rather large tropical storms, kept me very busy. I suppose it was this volunteer work that made me a possible choice to run for office.

Warren has always been very special to me. Growing up here and participating in so many organizations has been terrific. My professional life also provided me with the skill set and work ethic to help the town.

I have been in the position of Selectman for 4 years now, and I look forward to another 2-year term.

Embarking on my third term as cross-endorsed and unopposed is certainly cause to be thankful.

I am still dedicated and eager to continue the work I have started. I love giving back to my community and working with the many individuals I meet every day. I enjoy working for my neighbors and preparing the town for what’s still ahead.
