Candidate for The Board of Selectmen,
Howard Pulchin

From the Candidate

We bought our house on Town Hill Road in 2010, and from the start, Warren felt like home. Some of our most meaningful life moments have happened here. Joey and I were able to marry in 2011; our first dog, Jackson, joined our family that same year; and in 2020 we welcomed Ranger. What makes it all the more special is the feeling of belonging — knowing our neighbors as friends, and being part of a community that keeps growing stronger together.

Though I once intended to pursue a career in public service, life first led me into the communications field — with agencies and a global beverage company. I was known as a creative thinker, but my true strength was in bringing people with different perspectives together to build campaigns and stories that mattered. My time in Ireland, working on the Guinness brand, gave me an enduring lesson: the lifeblood of a place is its people, and nowhere is that more evident than in small towns where community ties are strongest.

Today, civic engagement is not a choice for me — it’s a responsibility. That’s why I’m running to serve on Warren’s Board of Selectmen. Having advised and led nonprofit boards, I know the power of collaboration and the urgency of action, especially at the local level. Warren has always been shaped by the care and commitment of its people. I want to honor that tradition while helping us embrace the opportunities ahead — protecting what we cherish while imagining what we can become, together.
